Limassol Weather – Year-round holiday sunshine
Most Limassol holiday visitors are here for hot summer sunshine but if the beach is not your main priority you should consider spring and autumn. Many Cyprus weather guides recommend spring as the best time to go to Limassol. You will still enjoy 6 or 7 hours a day of warm sunshine but temperatures are better suited for sightseeing and excursions. Spring is a wonderful time to visit the Troodos Mountains. Fruit trees are in blossom and wild flowers cover the mountainsides. Limassol weather in April and October sees temperatures in the 20’s. Limassol Easter holidays offer more reliable sunshine than Easter holidays in Spain. Quiet months, like October and May, also see incredibly cheap holidays in Limassol luxury hotels. Mild winter weather means you can still relax pavement cafes and waterfront tavernas. Winter holiday visitors can also enjoy ski holiday action on Mount Olympus!
