Temperatures begin to rise in June, and the average summer temperature rises from 25C to 28C throughout July and August, sometimes reaching over 30C. The meltemi winds blow from the south west in the summer, gaining strength throughout the day, and helping to temper the heat and humidity in the resort, and create welcome breezes when the temperature begins to rise. Limassol weather - Mild but short winters, seeing some rain The short winter season runs from December to February, with mild temperatures of between 11C and 13C. Even during this time, Limassol can expect about 5-6 hours of sunshine every day, and sea temperatures of 16-17C. Winters are also the wettest period, with December and January seeing about 10 or 11 days of rain each month, as opposed to the summer when it typically never rains.
