Our review of Limassol...
The modern and vibrant city of Limassol, Cyprus' largest seaside resort, is busy and bustling, offering everything from a lively nightlife and entertainment scene to a wide selection of ancient historical sites. With its thriving commercial centre and excellent tourist facilities such as modern hotels and varied shops, bars and restaurants, Limassol caters for all types of holidaymaker, from families and couples, to groups and single travellers. The resort on the central south coast is ideally placed to explore the island, with attractions such as the scenic Troodos Mountains, and the famous wineries and archaeological sites of the region offering interesting day trips.
