Lily Beach Resort Weather

Lily Beach Resort lies in the South Ari Atoll in Huvhendhoo in the Maldives, and offers visitors a peaceful relaxing beach resort with a hot tropical climate. The high temperatures do not fluctuate dramatically through the year, however the region does experience both a dry and rainy season. The best time to visit Lily Beach Resort is between November and April, with January and February in particular seeing the driest weather.

British winters are the best time to visit, with November to April experiencing more comfortable conditions and the least amount of rainfall, thanks to the north-eastern monsoon that hits the island. January and February are the driest months, seeing 68mm - 90mm of rain, with these peak season months enjoying sea temperatures of around 28C - ideal conditions for swimming and water sports.

 

The rainy season in Lily Beach Resort falls during March to June, thanks to the southwest monsoon that brings the hottest and most humid weather to the area. May is the wettest month, receiving 211mm of rain. The best months for scuba diving are November and April, when the water is at its clearest.
