Levante Beach Weather

Levante Beach is one of two sandy beaches in the popular resort of Benidorm in Spain on the Costa Blanca. The resort's extensive recreational facilities and fantastic climate means it remains one of the UK's most popular holiday destinations, with Levante Beach enjoying hot dry weather throughout the summer months, and plenty of year-round sunshine.    

 

Spring in Levante Beach sees warm dry weather, with temperatures in March and April a pleasant 18C - 19C, and the sun shining for 7 - 8 hours a day. May and June see temperatures rise to 22C - 26C, and the hours of sunshine increase to 9 - 10, with the water temperature remaining at 17C - 18C. The peak summer months of July and August experience temperatures of 29C - 30C, sometimes rising up to 40C during this time, with the humidity level remaining moderate despite the extreme temperatures, and cooling coastal breezes helping to make the heat feel more comfortable. The sea temperature in July and August reaches 24C - 25C, and during this time the region seeing large amounts of visitors, all looking to relax on the beach, and enjoy various watersports. A summer holiday in Levante Beach are extremely dry, with limited rainfall ranging from 10mm - 28mm, with the showers coming in short heavy bursts. The hot dry weather continues into October, with highs of 23C and 7 hours of sun.

 

Levante Beach attracts visitors during the winter months too, when the resort still experiences plenty of sunshine, at least 5 hours each day, and pleasant mild weather. The temperature only drops to 15C- 16C during the period from December to February, with the resort being sheltered by the Sierra Helada Mountains, and therefore protected from the cold, northerly winds that blow. Rainfall does increase in the winter months, with November being the wettest month, seeing 76mm of rain.
