Lefkas Weather - Sun drenched island paradise
Lefkas is a Greek island famed for its white sand beaches lapped by the turquoise waters of the Ionian Sea, and the weather in Lefkas just adds to this perfect island paradise. Lefkas is popular with sun worshippers who come to bask on the beaches during the long, hot summer months. From April to November the temperature in Lefkas does not usually dip below the 20C mark, and the peak months of July and August can see the heat rising to over the 30C mark. The winter months are still warm with temperatures in December and January remaining around 15C.
Weather in Lefkas - Perfect for the beach lover
The beautiful bays and beaches on Lefkas are ideal if you love to lie in the sun for hours or swim in the warm turquoise waters. From May to September the temperature will not dip below 25C and you can expect around 10 hours of sunshine per day. The sea temperature at this time of year will always be warm enough to swim in; ideal for windsurfing on the world famous Vassiliki beach. Rain is non existent during the long summer months and the nights will be warm and dry, perfect for enjoying an open air meal in the restaurants in Nidri or Lefkas Town.

Lefkas holidays have a typically Mediterranean climate and tends to be quite stable all year round. The rain does appear during the winter months from November onwards but it will still be warm enough to pick up a tan at this time of year. April in Lefkas sees the island becoming very green as the temperature once again heads past 20C and the sun is out for eight hours per day. The comfortable temperatures at this time of the year are ideal for an Easter family holiday in Lefkas.
