Leeds Bradford International Airport this week launched direct flights to Islamabad with Pakistan International Airlines (PIA).
The service will operate flights to the capital of Pakistan on a twice weekly basis, whilst also opening up an important gateway to Punjab.
Tony Hallwood, Commercial & Aviation Development Director at Leeds Bradford said:
“We must recognise the significant demand from our region for air links to Pakistan and we are delighted that PIA, Pakistan’s leading international scheduled airline is now providing the community in Yorkshire with direct services.
