Attached to the neighbouring Lanzarote Paradise Apartments and sharing a reception, the gleaming white-washed buildings of Las Colinas are set into a gently rising hillside, looking onto an attractive pool surrounded by sunbeds and parasols. Guests can choose to either make use of the good kitchen facilities in their room and self-cater, or take meals in the on-site restaurant where English breakfasts and a la carte dinners are served.

 

The Las Colinas Apartments are approximately a 25 minute walk into the resort centre of Costa Teguise, with its many cafés, shops, bars and beach. For those who don’t feel like walking, a courtesy shuttle bus runs from the hotel 4 times a day, and drops guests off at the main beach of Las Cucharas in the middle of town. The 18-hole Costa Teguise Golf Course is 800 metres from the complex for avid golfers, while a great day out is to be had at the nearby aqua park, just 200 metres down the road. Costa Tequise is a lively, popular holiday resort that developed in the 1970’s. There is a sheltered bay there ideal for windsurfers, and a boisterous nightlife scene around the old village-style square.

 

The accommodation at Las Colinas is made up of 48 large rooms, the majority of which look out over the attractive pool area. Rooms are comfortable, clean and tastefully furnished, and are either studios sleeping up to 3 adults with twin beds in an alcove off the lounge area, or one bedroom apartments sleeping up to 4 adults with a separate twin bedroom. All rooms come with kitchenette with stove top, fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee maker, satellite TV, air conditioning, safety deposit box, telephone, iron, full bathroom with WC and balcony or terrace.

 

The hotel boasts a good sized pool and surrounding sun terraced area, an on-site restaurant and a pool bar at the neighbouring Lanzarote Paradise Apartments (which guests at the Las Colinas are free to use). The hotel also has a lounge bar with satellite TV where there are occasional live shows and music in the evenings. A mini-market provides self-catering guests with essentials and cooking supplies, while there are a good selection of activities to enjoy including table tennis, mini football court, pool table, and bicycle hire. The reception also provides currency exchange, a laundry service, and internet access.
