Our review of Larnaca...
The ancient city of Larnaca boasts a long and culturally rich heritage, being the oldest in Cyprus dating back 6,000 years. The resort boasts a relaxing atmosphere and is a good choice for a year-round beach holiday. WIth its long stretch of beautiful coastline home to many well-equipped beaches, Larnaca would suit those looking for plenty of swimming and sunbathing, as well as the chance for scuba-diving, water sports and sailing. For those keen on sightseeing and looking to explore the culture of this historic area, the town offers numerous museums and archaeological sites, and the seaside promenade and marina, with its attractive palm trees and bustling shops and cafes, creates a modern tourist centre with a lively atmosphere.

It's easy to tour around as well - don't miss a trip up the Troodos Mountains - really picturesque with some charming little villages - and seeing the wreck of Zenobia if you fancy a dive - it's one of the top ten in the world!"
