Lardos Holidays
Lardos – Typical Greek village life and nearby relaxed beach resort
Lardos is on the south-east coast of Rhodes just 4 miles from the famous picturesque village of Lindos and 2 miles from the resort of Pefkos, 38 miles south of the airport and Rhodes Town. Lardos is a quiet traditional Greek village with some Italian-style architecture, about a mile inland from the coast, set among relaxing and unspoilt hills and olive groves. Lardos holidays are based here or at the growing resort of Lardos Bay that has sprung up at the beach. Lardos is the place to be for those looking for a quiet resort and a slow pace. Lardos nightlife and the social life of the village revolves around the typical main village square with its fountain of spa water and collection of bars, cafes and restaurants that retain quite a lot of Greek character and atmosphere. Lardos holidays offer a pretty good selection of restaurants both around the square and at the beach. Lardos holiday nightlife and shopping is a modest affair in the village which could be supplemented with trips to nearby Lindos which even has a few discos.
