Beaches
The beaches in La Cala include the 2,000 metre long Blue Flag awarded Las Doradas beach. The excellent climate makes the beaches in La Cala perfect during summer and winter. There is plenty of water sports activities available including jet-skiing, windsurfing and diving. Unspoilt and secluded beaches are also available in nearby Altea and Denia and can be reached by a short ferry ride.
Diving
Diving in La Cala is a popular activity and there are dive schools that provide introductory lessons and excursions. All the equipment needed will be provided along with first class professional tuition and excursions to the best dive sites in the Costa Blanca.
Restaurants
La Cala has an abundance of restaurants and bars catering to all tastes. Chinese, Italian, British and traditional Spanish cuisine are all available in La Cala. Excursions
There are plenty of excursions from La Cala and a trip to the marina area and old town of nearby Javea should not be missed. The natural beauty of the Jalon Valley is also a must see and many photographic opportunities await in the traditional mountain village of Guadalest. Take the ferry from Altea to Denia and explore the unspoilt beaches and waterfront restaurants and bars.
Theme Parks
Children will love both the beaches and the numerous theme parks available in La Cala. Benidorm’s Aqualandia water park has over 20 of the most thrilling rides available in Europe.
