The weather in La Romana, on the south east coast of the Dominican Republic, differs from the weather on the north coast. It is warm at night, anywhere between 19C and 23C on average. It is wettest from May to October, although it is always hot no matter how wet it gets. Average sea temperatures rarely drop below 19C and can soar about 23C – very pleasant indeed. Winter Weather in La Romana – Dry winter weather
The winter weather in La Romana is drier and you’ll enjoy much less rain between December and March. At the same time it is much less humid and although you’ll still get clouds and occasional showers, they mainly fall in the hills above the coast.
