Kusadasi Weather

Kusadasi, on Turkey's Aegean Coast, remains one of the most popular destinations for British visitors, with the resort boasting an idyllic and typically Mediterranean climate throughout the tourist season. With average summer temperatures of around 28C and as much as 14 hours of daily sunshine, conditions in Kusadasi are perfect for a relaxed beach holiday, with the weather well-suited to sunbathing and swimming.  

Kusadasi enjoys a long tourist season running from April to October, and boasts over 300 days of sunshine per year. The weather really heats up in June, when the average temperature reaches 27C, the resort enjoys 13 hours of daily sunshine, and the waters of the Aegean reach 22C. Humidity levels start to rise, and rainfall is unlikely, with night-time temperatures hovering around 16C. By July and August, Kusadasi sees very hot weather, with daytime highs averaging 29C - 32C. And with the warm waters of the sea reaching 24C, conditions are ideal for swimming, water sports and boat trips. The resort basks in 14 hours of glorious sunshine during high season, and the days experience the highest humidity at this time; however coastal breezes do serve to temper the intense heat and provide some relief. Night-time temperatures of up to 19C mean warm evenings spent dining alfresco, strolling around the resort and enjoying the resort's active nightlife scene. By September, the daytime temperatures remain high, reaching between 26C - 28C, and there are still 11 hours of daily sunshine; however Kusadasi experiences a drop in humidity levels, making conditions seem more pleasant.

 

Spring and autumn also see wonderful conditions for a relaxing holiday in Kusadasi, with the resort enjoying average highs of 18C - 23C and at least 8 hours of sunshine each day. April and May offer a great time to get out and explore the area and enjoy hiking, bike riding and sightseeing in the sunshine, without the intense humidity of the peak summer months, whilst October still sees great beach weather, with daytime highs of 20C and temperatures in the sea remaining around 22C. April and October can see increased chances of rain, however, with around 50mm expected each month. Winters in Kusadasi are mild but wet, with the resort receiving up to 150mm each month, and temperatures remaining around 11C - 13C during these low-season months.
