Kremasti Weather
Kremasti Weather – The best climate in Greece
Located high up on the north coast of Rhodes, Kremasti boasts a climate that will be heaven to any sun lover. Over 300 sunny days per year, minimal rainfall and 30C temperatures during the long summers makes Kremasti an established favourite with UK holiday makers. The weather in Kremasti is typically Mediterranean although Rhodes is blessed with the best climate of all the Greek Islands. The north coast does receive high temperatures but not the intense heat that can be found on the resorts of the south coast. Rainfall in Kremasti is evenly distributed through the late autumn, early spring and winter months, and will rarely appear during the summer.
Weather in Kremasti – 12 hours of hot sunshine per day
Temperatures in Kremasti do reach 30C during July and August but have been known to exceed this level. Sunshine levels in Kremasti are also high and holiday makers can expect around 12 hours of hot sunshine per day during the summer months. The beaches at Kremasti and nearby Trianta and Ixia do become busy once the temperatures start to rise during May. The sea waters are still warm enough to swim in until the end of October. Humidity levels may be high for some during July and August but the cool Meltemi winds should help to temper the heat.
Kremasti Weather – Warm sunny spring and autumn days
Holiday makers who prefer warm rather than hot weather should consider a holiday in Kremasti during the spring and autumn months. Temperatures will still hover around the 20C level during April and late October and the sun will be shining down for seven hours per day. Humidity levels will be more comfortable during these seasons and Kremasti become very green and fresh. Winter holidays are quieter although there will still be plenty of Greek sunshine to enjoy.
