Spectacular weather and beautiful beaches await you in Kovalam. Coconut trees line Kovalam’s sandy beaches, the most popular of which is the Lighthouse Beach. The crescent shaped beaches of Kovalam are sheltered and unspoilt and fishermen can be seen in the early morning on Hawah Beach. The beaches in Kovalam are an unspoilt paradise and are the perfect place to lounge in the sun or swim in the warm Arabia Sea.

 

There is an abundance of excellent restaurants in Kovalam especially along the beachfront. Seafood is always on the menu and the fish and seafood dishes are the freshest available. There are plenty of exciting tours to be taken from Kovalam. Cruises will allow you to spot dolphins, crocodiles and riverside temples. Head to Chirakarathazham, near Paravur and feed and ride the elephants. Take a jeep ride into the jungle and explore the hidden ruins and temples that this area of Kerala is famous for.
