Korcula Weather – Mediterranean summers
The Island of Korcula shares it's climate with the rest of Croatia's coast, experiencing a warmer than national average year round temperature that is similar to that found in Greece and southern Italy, enjoying long, hot and dry summers. In fact, Korcula’s geographical position makes it more favourable than many other Mediterranean resorts. Rainfall is extremely rare in summer and usually only falls at night, so you can be confident that a holiday in Korcula will experience an abundant amount of sunshine.

Weather In Korcula – Mild winters
If you are considering a winter holiday in Korcula, it is worth noting that despite being mild, the climate can often feel cold, due to northern winds. However, low winter temperatures are very rare on the island of Korcula and despite the occasional yet rare occurrence of snowfall, the chance of snow actually covering the ground is almost unheard of. In fact, on average, Korcula will experience only 1 or 2 days of snow per year.

Korcula Weather – Ideal for the beach and water sports
A frequent summer wind will ensure Korcula summers have a refreshing breeze to cool the long hot summer days. As well as creating perfect windsurfing conditions, the breeze enables tourists to enjoy a number of other activities including sailing and other water sports. The warm sea temperatures enable swimming in Korcula from early April until the middle of November.
