Kavos Weather

Kavos is world famous for its party atmosphere, beautiful beaches and hot sunny climate. Temperatures here during the peak summer months will regularly hit the 30C plus mark making Kavos beach the place to be. Kavos is blessed with six long hot summer months from May until the end of October. Rainfall during this period will be low and the average temperature will be a high 27C. The climate is fairly stable all year round with warm weather during the spring, autumn and winter months.

 

Kavos is blessed with around 3000 hours of sunshine per year and is one of the main reasons that this resort has long been a favourite with UK holiday makers. Located on Corfu’s south east coast Kavos is a hot beach destination by day and a buzzing party resort during the evening. Rainfall is at a minimum during the summer months and temperatures during June, July and August will regularly hit 30C and over. Sea temperatures during the summer will hover around 26C, which makes the numerous water sports a pleasurable experience. Evening temperatures are also warm at 17C; perfect for the open air restaurants and bars.

Kavos will be slightly more relaxed during the spring and autumn months. The weather during these seasons will still be warm at around 20C, and holiday makers can expect around seven hours of warm sunshine per day. Winter will be a quieter time but holiday makers who take a festive break can expect temperatures of around 15C with some rainfall.
