Kalymnos Reviews
Our review of Kalymnos...
A compact and mountainous island in the northern Dodecanese, ideal for those looking for a traditional Greek Island with dramatic scenery and plenty of peace and quiet. A haven for both rock-climbers and walkers, Kalymnos offers a selection of sleepy resorts and authentic fishing villages, with low-key tourism and a relaxed pace of life. Kalymnos is most famous for its incredible sponge fishing history dating back over 500 years, with its tradition still a huge part of the island today.
Customers reviews of Kalymnos...
"If you're looking for a quiet relaxing holiday, try Kalymnos. You do have to get a ferry from Kos, but it was worth it. We had a great time exploring the island - I'd particularly recommend a boat trip round the island and a visit to Telendos."

"Being regulars to Kalymnos, I can honestly say what keeps us going back are the people. They are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble, which helps to really make our holidays special. It's a great place to switch off, and has become our 'home away from home'."
Mrs T Reed, Kent, UK
"We stayed in the main resort of Massouri, and the beach and hotel were lovely. Tried a couple of trips - to the lovely beach at Pserimos, and the town of Pothia, where we spent a great day walking round looking at the architecture and the fishing boats - but mainly stayed on the beach every day - it was so relaxing. There were lots of tavernas to choose from in the evening, and the sunsets were stunning every night."
Mrs F Smith, Essex, UK
"I went this year to Kalymnos on an organised climbing holiday and it was amazing. Climbing conditions really are fantastic, plus the scenery is great and we had perfect weather. Highly recommended - even for complete beginners"
