A holiday in Kalo Chorio can take advantage of the neighbouring resort of Agios Nikolaos, a busy lively harbour town sitting on the western end of the scenic Gulf of Mirabelle, backed by olive groves and rocky mountains. Agios Nikolaos has plenty of shops, cafes, bars, tavernas and nightlife into the early hours. Take a boat trip to visit nearby islands like the famous island of Spinalonga with its Venetian fortress. Other possible excursions while on holiday in Kalo Chorio are to Knossos Palace, Heraklion or traditional Crete villages inland.
