Kallithea Things to Do

Kallithea beaches are beautiful sandy bays and coves dotted along the coastline. Not only does Kallithea boast some unspoilt relaxed beaches but it is also a mere 3 miles from the vibrant Faliraki beaches and 4 miles from the beaches at Rhodes Town. Kallithea is definitely an area that has an abundance of beautiful beaches.

For a wider selection head to Faliraki beach where pedaloes, ringo rides and motor boat hire are all available. Excursions from Kallithea can include nearby Rhodes Town with its ancient Old Town quarter boasting the best traditional restaurants and tavernas on the island. The Turkish quarter is also worth visiting but holiday makers can make the 45 minute hydrofoil trip from Rhodes Town harbour to Turkey itself to sample the delights of Marmaris. The ancient Kallithea Springs are said to hold recuperative powers for a range of medical ailments.

Faliraki is a mere 3 miles from Kallithea and is the number one party resort on Rhodes, if not the Greek islands. Faliraki is also home to the largest water park in Europe, which boasts enough thrilling rides and chutes to keep children entertained for hours.
