Jolly Beach Weather - West Antigua sees fewer winds than those on east
Jolly Beach lies on the west coast of Antigua, just 10km from the airport and 5 minutes away from the capital city, St. Johns. The resort faces the Caribbean Sea and receives between 7 and 8 hours of daily sunshine all year round, making it an ideal place for a tropical beach holiday, with near-perfect conditions for sun-bathing and water sports. Antigua itself boasts the driest climate in the Eastern Caribbean, and the resort's westerly location means it sees fewer winds than those in the north and east of the island, but does enjoy the cooling benefits of the gentle trade winds which blow in from the west.
 
Weather in Jolly Beach - Hot weather all year round, dry during the winter season
High season in Jolly Beach is between December and April, when the resort sees consistent high temperatures and little rain, whilst visitors looking for cheaper prices and fewer crowds should travel in the low-season period between April and November. Temperatures in Jolly Beach do remain high all year round, with July, August and September seeing the hottest weather at around 31C, whilst January and February dips down to 25C, and the resort enjoys an average temperature of 28C. Winters are the driest in Jolly Beach, with February and March seeing the least rain - an average of 3.8cm - and the summers seeing the wettest conditions, with 22cm of rainfall in June.

Jolly Beach enjoys a great location on the west coast facing the Caribbean, where the calm clear waters are ideal for swimming and water sports. The water temperature in Jolly Beach remains warm and pleasant - only dropping down to 21C in February and reaching 28C in August - and the resort generally sees just a few degrees difference between the water and air temperatures.
