The Jalon Valley is located in the Northern Costa Blanca, a few miles inland. The valley follows the Jalon River as it flows inland from the Mediterranean, and the region offers a peaceful rural haven, ideal for walking holidays. The Jalon Valley enjoys a typically-Mediterranean climate, with hot dry summers and the sun shining for as much as 325 days a year. Like other areas in the Costa Blanca, the climate is perceived to be extremely healthy and ideal for arthritis sufferers.

The spring and autumn months offer ideal conditions for outdoor activities in the Jalon Valley, with temperatures in March and April between 18C - 20C, and the months of October and November seeing highs of 19C - 23C. These warm days see between 6 - 9 hours of sun, dry conditions and low humidity. Summers in the Jalon Valley see higher temperatures, with June reaching 26C and July and August rising to 29C and 30C respectively, with the sea temperature rising to 26C. Humidity only reaches a moderate level even in the hottest months, and there is plenty of sunshine - up to 11 hours each day. Rainfall in the summer is very limited, with 9mm - 20mm falling each month from June to September.
