Historical Sights
Ithaca is the island where you can enjoy a real slice of Greek history. Steeped in mythology, Ithaca is home to three of the main Odysseus sights. If you still have the energy, travel on to the ruins of the Castle of Odysseus, the views on these walks are spectacular enough in themselves; don’t forget to take a camera.
Kefalonia
Take the short ferry ride from Ithaca to Kefalonia and you can take advantage of the many white sand beaches, picture postcard villages, and numerous restaurants and cafes. Don’t miss the chance to see the illuminated Melissani Cave and underwater lake.
