Theme Parks
The International Drive Area is a mecca for those looking for a convenient base for the Florida theme parks, and the region boasts excellent access to some of the world's best attractions. Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, Sea World, Wet 'n Wild and Discovery Cove are all within easy reach and offer fantastic family entertainment.

The area is a shopper's paradise, home to specialist boutiques and sprawling malls, as well as a number of major factory outlet stores boasting heavily-discounted goods. America's largest flea market, 'Flea World', is located nearby in Sanford.

Away from the hustle and bustle of the parks, there are many peaceful nature retreats such as Blue Spring State Park and Homosassa Springs Wildlife Park to visit for scenic walks, hikes, bike rides and bird-watching, and home to local flora and fauna, including manatees, cougars and bears.
Day Trips
The International Drive Area offers access to lots more than the Florida theme parks, with day trips to Old Town at Kissimmee, boat tours on the lake at Winter Park and peaceful hikes in Weikiwa Springs State Park. Head to the West Coast Gulf beaches such as St. Petersburg, Clearwater and Indian Shores, or venture east for an interesting day at the Kennedy Space Centre, or the shores of Daytona Beach and Cocoa Beach.
