Inghams Acquire Inntravel

Inghams Travel has purchased activity holidays specialist Inntravel for an undisclosed sum. With eight different programmes, Inntravel offer a wide and unique range of holidays, both active and relaxed, including a walking and touring programme in North America, cycling holidays, villas and cottages in Greece, short breaks and weekends away and horse riding holidays.

Inntravel have grown steadily over the past couple of years and have been recognised as innovators within the industry by winning many awards for their brochures and customer service. The AITO certified tour operator offers brochures for all its sectors including ‘walking holidays’, ‘cycling holidays’, ‘family holidays', 'America holidays', ‘holidays in the snow', ‘villa, cottages & more’, ‘authentic Greece holidays', ‘short breaks' and ‘horse riding’. Inntravel offer British Airways flights for many of their holidays, citing their reliability, punctuality and convenient schedules.

Inghams have confirmed that the Inntravel rand will remain in place and continue to run separately, whilst there will be no job losses at their London offices, which will also not be relocated. Ingham’s parent company Hotelplan UK aim to use their experience within the winter activity area to allow the business to grow solidly and become more successful in the future.
