There are numerous centres in Icmeler and nearby Marmaris that provide short courses, and professionals will take you to some of the best diving sites in Turkey. Look out for the official Marmaris Diving Centre that is located on a boat near the local tourist office.

Beaches
If all you want to do is relax on the beach and soak up the sun then you will not be disappointed by beach holidays in Icmeler. The Dalaman region has some of the most unspoilt beaches in Turkey and it is not hard to find a secluded cove or sheltered bay where you can spend the day topping up your tan. Check out the magnificent Iztuzu Beach or join the sunbathers down at Olu Deniz, just don’t forget your camera.
