Holidays in Ibiza Town
Any visitor is sure to enjoy the old and the new that Ibiza Town has to offer. Split into two halves, Ibiza Town offers a pleasing experience for any holiday. By day the cobbled streets of Dalt Vila, the old town which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, offers magnificent Renaissance architecture highlighted by the stunning Cathedral de Santa Maria. The narrow streets act as a labyrinth peppered with history, good food and shopping. By night, the beautiful streets of Ibiza Town come alive with the spectacle of party-goers provided by some of the finest clubs in the world. Even if this not for you, it really is worth visiting just to experience the atmosphere.

Beaches
Holidays in Ibiza provide over 60 beaches to choose from. Stunning large stretches of sand mixed with coves and rocky cliffs are typical of what Ibiza has to offer. Conveniently located to Ibiza town are the family-friendly Figueretes and Talamanca beaches with long, sandy stretches of white sand and easy access to the surrounding bars and restaurants. Playa d’en Bossa, home of Bora Bora beach, is where the clubbing faithful gather to top up their tan.

Shopping
A surprising but very welcome fact about a holiday in Ibiza Town is that it has the world’s greatest population of boutiques in one small area! Any keen shopper will be in paradise with the countless outlets stocking anything from music to jewellery to perfume. However, a real treat is in store for any fashionista as local designers offer up their latest creations in the old town as shops stay open until midnight in the high season. The bargain-hunters are not forgotten with a holiday in Ibiza town as the hippy market at Las Dalias on Saturday morning provides the opportunity to find that gem amongst the eclectic mix of clothes, jewellery and books.

Eating Out
With Ibiza enjoying in excess of 30 miles of coastline, seafood rightly enjoys a significant place on any Balearic menu. However, a visitor can enjoy pretty much any dish they want - meat, fish or vegetarian - courtesy of the numerous restaurants in Ibiza Town. Exploring Placa de Vila and Sa Carossa will find some of the best local and international food around.

Formentera
From Ibiza Town you can enjoy a day trip to the island of Formentera. Relatively untouched by tourism and famous for its continuous golden sands with the likes of Playa Migjom and Playa Llevant, Formentera allows any visitor to discover the more traditional Balearic way of life.
