Our review of Hisaronu...
Located 4km away from Olu Deniz, the inland village of Hisaronu has developed into the main base for visitors, being home to most of the accommodation in the area. Once a sleepy village set in the scenic pine-clad hills, Hisaronu is now a lively and fairly commercial resort, with a wealth of bars, restaurants and shops serving the numerous hotels and pensions that have been built here. Most holiday-makers come to this resort for the famous Blue Lagoon of Olu Deniz beach, and take the frequent dolmus (local bus) that runs down to the coast. With its fantastic beach, and choice of accommodation and facilities, Hisaronu is an ideal resort for families, couples and groups looking for lively nightlife and entertainment, with plenty of opportunity for day trips and visits to the local attractions.

"There is so much to do in Hisaronu you might run out of days to do them in! As well as going down to the beach, there are loads of other things to do - water sports, watching the paragliders, scuba diving and the boat trips seem to be the best things that we tried, as well as the mud baths at Dalyan".

"Such a relaxing holiday in Olu Deniz - the beach really is spectacular and our hotel was clean and very friendly. I thought Hisaronu was quite a busy resort with lots of life, and lots of British people, and for a change of pace a couple of times we went down to the front where it was more peaceful. Went to the Ghost Town of Kayakoy and the Saklikent Gorge - highly recommended day trips."

Hisaronu is a beautiful town. The people are so friendly, nothing is too much trouble for them. It is only a short ride on the Dolmus to the beach in Olu Deniz or to the town od Fethiye. we will certainly be returning for another holiday there.

"Don't miss a boat trip while in Olu Deniz. We actually took a gulet cruise which was MAGICAL - quite the highlight of our holiday, and have already booked again for next year. Gorgeous boat, attentive crew, excellent food and drink and the beauty of the Med and the coastline - its heaven!"
