Haraki – Small relaxed friendly beach resort.
Haraki is a small fishing village resort on a picturesque bay on the east coast of Rhodes, 15 miles north of Lindos and 5 miles from Archangelos. Haraki holidays are based around a well-equipped beach resort which is really a seaside addition to the villages of Malona and Massari. Holidays in Haraki appeal to those looking for a modest quiet Rhodes resort away from the big crowds but not entirely isolated. Haraki holiday nightlife is largely based around friendly tavernas along the shady seafront promenade, many serving good fresh fish. Small fishing boats in the harbour add colour to the scene and the main promenade is a favourite place to stroll in the evenings. There are plenty of bars at Haraki and even a disco, but this is quite a laid-back resort with a predominantly family atmosphere.

Haraki beach is set on a curved bay and is a mixture of shingle and sand. Perfectly clear water is excellent for snorkelling. Holidays in Haraki have Agathi beach close by; a lovely cove with superb deep fine golden sand, dunes and the curious tiny chapel of Ayia Agathi set in a cave at the end of the beach. Ayia Agathi beach is considered one of the very finest beaches on Rhodes. Haraki holidays can explore the huge expanses of beach that stretch between the headland of Heraki Bay and the picture-postcard village of Lindos to the south.

A popular Haraki holiday walk is up to the remains of medieval Feraklos castle, one of the last strongholds of the Knights of St John, which stands between Haraki beach and Agathi beach with fine views of Agathi beach, Haraki beach and the coastline to Lindos. Favourite Haraki holiday excursions include the Moroccan-style craft village of Archanelos and the famous picturesque village of Lindos which is just 15 miles to the south. Buses run from Karaki to the fascinating historic capital, Rhodes Town.
