Hammamet Yasmine enjoys a Mediterranean type climate with sun, sun and more sun during its long summer season. Average high temperatures rise from 21°C in spring to around 32°C in July and August. Sea temperatures may seem a little cool in spring - 15°C in April – but they reach a very warm 26°C in August and are still around 22°C in October. This is part of the reason for Hammamet Yasmine’s popularity with snorkelers and divers. Anyone going on the beach should be careful, though, as the cooling breeze can make bathers forget how powerful the sun really is. Although if it does get too hot there’s always the ice rink.

Winter holidays in Hammamet Yasmine are mild and there is still plenty of sun, so golfers or travellers who want to explore the medina and the Roman sites should find the temperature pleasant enough. There is an average high of 15°C in January, the coolest month, although evenings can be chilly and visitors will need to take some warm clothing. Winter is when most of the rain falls, however, and there is usually around 5-6cm a month from October to January. This is balanced out to some extent by the 5-6 hours of sunshine the resort receives each day from November to January. Hammamet Yasmine, named after the Jasmine flower, with its well-tended hotel gardens and nearby lemon trees and olive groves still looks very attractive in the winter sun and is beautiful when spring comes.
