Weather in Hakuraa Club - Tropical climate in Meemu Atoll in the Maldives
Located in the Meemu Atoll in the Maldives, the beautiful Hakuraa Club enjoys a tropical climate, with year-round high temperatures and plenty of glorious sunshine. The weather is defined by the islands' two monsoons - the southwest, which hits from May to October and the northeast, which occurs from November to April. The best time to visit the Hakuraa Club is during the British winter, when the island sees plenty of hot dry sunny weather.

Temperatures do not fluctuate that dramatically throughout the year, with the region seeing an average annual temperature of 30C; however the level of rainfall varies dramatically depending on the season. The northwest monsoon hits Hakuraa Club in November, bringing dry weather and marking the beginning of the busy tourist season. January to April experiences the least rain, with between 60mm - 90mm falling each month, and the resort enjoying around 8 - 9 hours of sunshine each day. Daytime temperatures reach 30C, with the evenings dropping down to 25C - 26C. Water temperatures during the winter months remain a very warm 28C, with November being the best month for scuba diving.

The period from March to June sees extremely high levels of humidity, with April experiencing very hot weather with highs of 32C. May marks the beginning of the monsoon season, which brings strong winds and around 200mm of rain during the month. The sea temperature rises to 29C, but can be a little rough during the monsoon season. Summers in Hakuraa Club see the temperatures still reaching 30C, and the sun shining for up to 7 hours each day.
