Gumbet Weather

Gumbet is in the Bodrum region of south western Turkey, and there is so much to do here packing it all in is the only difficulty you'll encounter. The weather in Gumbet, like the Bodrum region, will be hot and dry in the summer months and cooler and breezier in the winter months. Still, with only a handful of days where it actually rains throughout the year you'll not be disappointed if you're after clear skies, warm seas and the opportunity to top up your tan. Visit some of the nearby resorts at Altinkum or Bodrum city itself, and you'll see why Gumbet is a lively option. Young people have made Gumbet a haven for active and adventurous holidaymakers - an atmosphere the local hospitality have helped create.

 

To make the most of Gumbet you've got to be outside, the sunshine and blue skies make the summer highs welter into the high 30s (C) and you'll be happy sitting back and relaxing on your sun lounger. But, if your sun holiday in Turkey is going to be a special one, you should certainly enjoy one of the Blue Cruises which spend the day wiling along the coast, taking in hidden coves and allowing you to make the most of snorkelling on this fabulous coast. Sea temperatures are around 20C so that you will be as warm off the boat as in.

 

Try visiting off season if you want the resort to be quieter and calmer. May and Sept are both great months to visit as the resort quietens down and you'll have more of the beach to yourself.
