The Gulf of Valinco is arguably the most beautiful on the west side of Corsica. Propriano is the main town in the region and is a fantastic place to visit with its lively port and various good restaurants coupled with its spectacular backdrop. The Rizzanese River boasts rock pools and river bathing for those common hot summer days, and the Baracci hot springs are a delightful place to relieve stress and relax. Apart from Propriano being the principal town in the area, other charming towns such as Campomoro, an enchanting and friendly village should not be neglected. Indeed Cappiciolo, with its golden sandy beaches is perhaps one of the most picturesque spots in the gulf.
