Guia Weather - Clear and bright sunshine all year long
The Algarve is one of the sunniest regions of Europe and weather in Guia will enjoy long hot summers of unbroken sunshine and mild winter temperatures. Rainfall is surprisingly low with virtually no wet weather in the main summer months and winters mostly sunny and dry with few days of significant rain. Spring and autumn holidays in Guia are especially popular with UK visitors with a combination of cheap prices and very pleasant temperatures that make off season Algarve golfing breaks such a pleasure. For most of the year, water sports and swimming can be enjoyed with constant sea breezes and consistently warm sea temperatures that can reach around 20c.
Weather In Guia - Glorious sunny days guaranteed
A summer holiday in Guia will certainly enjoy arguably the most agreeable climate in mainland Europe with virtually no rainfall between June and early September. Clear blue sunny skies and hot sunshine are a constant feature, yet temperatures rarely get unbearable. Guia is close enough to the coastline to benefit from pleasantly cool sea breezes. High season temperatures will reach 30c and an exceptional 12 hours of daily sunshine should be enjoyed during July. The mercury can rise much higher during July and August and extremely high midday temperatures can sometimes occur reaching up to 38c.
Guia Weather - Just right for a low season sunshine break
Guia sees a constant flow of incoming visitors throughout the winter months due to its very mild temperatures and relatively low rainfall. Guia weather will benefit from periods of uninterrupted sunshine with only January and February likely to cause any major disruption to sightseeing or sunbathing. Winter rainfall at this time often comes in brief and heavy thunderstorms and rarely lasts for more than a couple of hours. Although the Algarve has seen some freak weather conditions in recent years such as winter snowfall on its beaches in 2006, extreme cold weather is very rare. Daytime temperatures should be constant with at least 15c and around 6 hours of daily sunshine to be enjoyed.
