Guardalavaca Weather

Guardalavaca can claim to have some of the best weather in Cuba. Beach holidays at the eastern end of Cuba usually enjoy even longer hours of sunshine than resorts like Varadero and Jibacoa. Guardalavaca rainfall is also lower than destinations like Havana. You can enjoy wonderfully relaxing winter holidays and summer holidays on Guadalajara beaches. Perhaps the best time to go to Guardalavaca is winter and early spring. Temperatures are around 28º and humidity is lower than the summer holiday season. Guardalavaca rainfall is also at its lowest in winter. February is often the driest month. If you have the flexibility to travel in early spring, we strongly recommend Guardalavaca holidays in March and April. Beaches are quiet and there are amazingly cheap holidays in Guardalavaca hotels. Christmas holidays, New Year holidays and Easter holidays should all enjoy perfect Caribbean weather.

The eastern end of Cuba is much more likely to experience heavy rain in October and November than in peak summer. Guardalavaca weather in July and August sees around 8 hours of sunshine a day and average highs of 32º. Make sure to protect yourself from very strong sunshine in late spring and summer. Summer humidity is not really an issue if your Guardalavaca holidays are all about relaxation. Guardalavaca all-inclusive holidays feature superbly equipped air-conditioned hotels.
