Beaches

Archaeological Sites
Rich in history, Guardalavaca is home to one of the best preserved archaeological sites in the country, a 15th-century Arawakan Indian village and burial ground.

Head to the town's craft market, for some regional gifts and souvenirs, or explore the lively cities of Gibara and Banes for traditional Cuban flavour. Visit the neighbouring town of Santa Lucia and enjoy a trip on a classic steam train, or travel to Holguin for a tour of a cigar factory.
