As you would expect from a Caribbean island, the weather on Grenada varies from tropical heat to a fairly heavy rainy season. The tourist season in Grenada is from November to May and this time of year sees Grenada at its driest. The year round average temperature in Grenada is around 27C but the heat can climb during the day, often hitting the 30C mark. The temperature will drop at night, usually to around 23C. The weather on Grenada will also vary according to the altitude. Grenada is an island of contrasts with lush, tropical rainforests, mountainous regions and white, sandy beaches and no matter which season you arrive, some light rain will fall in the mountainous and rainforest areas.

The climate conditions in Grenada will depend on what type of holiday you would like.  A holiday in Grenada from November to May will provide dry, warm weather but it is the busy time of the year, June through to December is considered the wet season but is a quieter time if you wish to relax on secluded beaches. The island also begins to become busy from August onwards, but no matter which season you choose, you can still be guaranteed around eight to nine hours of tropical sunshine per day.

The weather in Grenada will not disappoint if you are seeking sun-baked beaches and warm, tropical waters. The balmy 27C temperature lasts all year round and the water is always warm, which is why the Caribbean islands are popular with water sports enthusiasts.  The crystal clear, warm waters are perfect for diving, snorkelling, wind-surfing and numerous other water sports.  December and January are considered the cooler months and are also the driest, making these months the perfect time to explore the island in comfort.
