Gozo Reviews
Our review of Gozo...
Quiet and serene, the tiny island of Gozo offers a charming base for walkers, scuba-divers, history and culture-lovers, as well as those in search of good old-fashioned relaxation - all just a 20 minute ferry ride from neighbouring Malta. A beautiful and unspoilt destination, Gozo offers an amazingly rugged coastline, clear-blue Mediterranean waters and peaceful beaches, as well as plenty of sleepy countryside to explore, dotted with charming farmhouses and lush greenery. Fascinating historical sites, and a wealth of mythology and legend adds to the islands' appeal.
Our customer reviews of Gozo...
"Gozo really was even better than we imagined. Small and old-fashioned, it was absolutely perfect! We managed a peaceful and low-key week away with some lovely walks. The beautiful countryside has some stunning views, and I'd highly recommend a visit to the traditional villages of Ghasri and Gharb. A really charming island."

"We went to Gozo for the scuba-diving, as there are so many great sites around the coastline, for every level of diver (we are a mixed-ability group). The dive school was really friendly, and the Med was warm with great visibility. The diving really was all it is cracked up to be - the underwater caverns and caves were amazing - best had to be the Blue Hole and the Cathedral Cave - don't miss these!"

"If you're lucky enough to be in Gozo during the summer, you'll experience the fiestas that go on throughout the island - a real treat with fireworks and major celebrations, and the people are so friendly!"

"Our apartment was ideal, close to the beach in Marsalforn, the busiest resort on Gozo. Great beach and some fabulous restaurants - so relaxing. It's small so you can hire a car and see all the major sites - the famous Azure WIndow, Fungus Rock, the old-fashioned villages and the lovely capital, Victoria. Next time we'll try one of the quaint country farmhouses inland."
