Weather In Gozo The Mediterranean island of Gozo is a sun worshippers dream, summer months can see temperatures hitting the 31C mark during August and the sunshine is constant for around 12 hours per day. The climate on the Maltese islands is very stable the whole year round, and the summer season between April and August sees very little rain. Gozo is located between Africa and Southern Italy and the climate is also comparable to that of Greece. During the summer, sea breezes drift in to take the edge from the high summer temperatures.

There is very little rainfall on the island although there may be some infrequent rainstorms and when a shower does occur it is usually very short. With around seven hours of sunshine per day, a winter holiday in Gozo is the perfect time to top up a tan and see the island’s many sights in comfort.
