Weather In Gozo
The Mediterranean island of Gozo is a sun worshippers dream, summer months can see temperatures hitting the 31C mark during August and the sunshine is constant for around 12 hours per day.  The climate on the Maltese islands is very stable the whole year round, and the summer season between April and August sees very little rain. Gozo is located between Africa and Southern Italy and the climate is also comparable to that of Greece.  During the summer, sea breezes drift in to take the edge from the high summer temperatures.

Whether you come to the island of Gozo to relax and sunbathe or sightsee the ancient ruins you can be guaranteed that the weather will stay hot, sunny and dry during the summer. Temperatures from May to August will rarely dip below 25C and there will never be less than 10 hours of glorious sunshine per day. The high temperatures make the crystal clear waters very warm and perfect for the many water activities that are popular on the island. With temperatures at around 20C in April, a holiday in Gozo makes for the ideal Easter holiday location.

Gozo is still pleasantly warm during its winter months, temperatures will usually not fall below 15C and the months of October and November can still see seven hours of constant, 20C sunshine. There is very little rainfall on the island although there may be some infrequent rainstorms and when a shower does occur it is usually very short. With around seven hours of sunshine per day, a winter holiday in Gozo is the perfect time to top up a tan and see the island’s many sights in comfort.
