Gozo Holidays - An unspoilt and undiscovered destination
Gozo, the tiny island in the Maltese archipelago, is an unspoilt and undiscovered destination, offering a tranquil base for those in search of rest and relaxation.  Just a 20 minute ferry ride from Malta, Gozo is a world away from its’ larger neighbour, with a diverse landscape full of rugged cliffs, hills and valleys, and its’ green and rural pastures dotted with old stone farmhouses, and tiny farming and fishing communities. With a typical Southern Mediterranean climate, Gozo offers hot, dry summers and pleasant warm winters, and is the ideal location for those looking for a charming old-fashioned destination, with fantastic diving conditions and a wealth of fascinating cultural and historical sights.

Holidays in Gozo – Enjoy the peace and tranquility
Unlike Malta, Gozo has just a handful of tourist resorts, the main one being Marsalforn, on the north coast. Once a traditional fishing village, Marsalforn has developed into a popular destination for both locals and tourists alike, and offers a choice of watersports, hotels and restaurants, whilst retaining its’ village charm. The beautiful Ramla Bay, with its’ stunning red coloured sands, is considered to be the best beach on Gozo, and Dwerja, home of the Inland Sea, the Azure Window and Fungus Rock has superb diving conditions. Inland Gozo has many charming and picturesque towns and villages to visit, including Gharb, with its’ stone carved balconies and pretty village square, the ancient village of Kercem and the capital, Victoria, with its’ panoramic views and weekly open-air market.

Holidays in Gozo – Plenty of great walks and fantastic diving
Perfect for those looking for a slower pace of life, Gozo offers many scenic walks and bike-rides through its’ beautiful countryside and rugged coastal paths. Known as one of the best places in the Mediterranean to dive, the coastline around Gozo has crystal waters, interesting rock formations, caves and caverns, and is home to plenty of marine life. Gozo has many fascinating places of historical interest, such as the alabaster caves at Xaghra, the Ghantija Temples, apparently older that the Pyramids, and buildings such as the Basilica at Ta’Pinu, still an official place of pilgrimage today, and the 17th century cathedral. Whilst holidaying on Gozo, look for crafts such as lace, baskets and hand-blown glass, and try the local cuisine featuring plenty of fresh fish, cheese, figs, olives and honey.
