The Gozdem II is located around 50m from the sandy beach and a few minutes’ walk from the centre of Turunc. Turunc is a former fishing village and has retained much of its charm. Visitors frequently praise the high standard of local restaurants and friendliness of the locals. There is a bakery a few minutes from the hotel serving fresh Turkish bread. Marmaris, with its bustling nightlife and harbour, is around 20km from the hotel and easily accessible by bus or taxi. In Turunc trips to the historic sites of Ephesus and Aphrodisias, boat rides or microlight flights in the Dalyan Delta, visits to traditional Turkish baths and jeep safaris in the mountains can be arranged. Dalaman Airport is around 117km from the resort.
