Gouvia Things to Do

Gouvia boast three different beaches ranging from quiet and secluded along the coast to the busier local beaches. Water sports are available on the beach including boat hire and jet-skis. Gouvia also offers easy access to numerous beaches on the East coast including Ipsos, Dassia and the beaches at Corfu Town.

 

Gouvia itself is host to Corfu’s main marina and holidaymakers can sit at the cafes watching the rich and famous arrive in their sleek yachts. The village of Kontokali is a short walk from Gouvia and offers a Blue Flag beach and the ruins of a castle and shipyard. Gouvia nightlife can be lively and the resort boasts many tavernas, bars, restaurants and nightclubs. The party atmosphere can be kicked up a gear by taking a cab ride to nearby Ipsos, well known as one of most exciting late night party spots on Corfu.
