Globespan Holidays is part of Globespan Group Plc which was set up in 1974. Globespan has over 30 years of experience with scheduled flights, chartered flights, coach and train travel, hotels and package holidays. Globespan has put particular emphasis on holidays departing from Scotland. Globespan has specialised in holidays to Canada, the United States and South Africa as well as familiar Mediterranean package holiday destinations in Spain, Portugal, France and Cyprus among others.
Flyglobespan - Low-cost flights to Europe, North America and South Africa
The Globespan group has continued to grow and now includes Flyglobespan, its own low-cost airline operating since 2002. Again Globespan has concentrated on Scotland, with many flights departing from Edinburgh and Glasgow. Flyglobespan flights serve many of Europe’s most popular sunshine holiday destinations like Alicante, Cyprus, the Algarve, Ibiza, Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Palma and the Costa del Sol as well as popular city-break destinations like Barcelona and Prague. Globespan destinations in the United States include Florida, New York and Boston. Globespan Canada destinations include Calgary, Toronto and Vancouver. South African destinations offered by Globespan include Cape Town and Johannesburg. Flyglobespan has also operated from London Stansted since 2005. Flyglobespan was chosen as Airline of the Year 2005 by BAA, the Scottish airports authority.

Globespan continues to grow with the purchase of modern aircraft including wide-bodied Boeing 767-300’s for transatlantic destinations. The principal airports used by Globespan are still Glasgow and Edinburgh.
