Low Fuel Bill Causes Flybe Profits To Soar - Mon. 08 Sep. 2008
Low cost airline Flybe has announced full year profits of £30.4 million with a 45% increase in sales to £535.9 million. Flybe accredits its relatively low fuel bill as one of the main reasons for its healthy profit margin. Making up just 24%, represents one of the lowest percentage lowest percentage loads in the aviation industry.
Flybe Hiring Passengers For Dublin Flights - Mon. 31 Mar. 2008
Flybe is 'hiring' people to travel on flights between Norwich airport and Dublin to avoid a £280,000 penalty. In the terms of their contract at the East Anglian airport, Flybe must carry 15,000 passengers on the route by March 31.

Flybe has begun its summer schedule by commencing with 34 new UK routes. New routes include Dundee flights to Birmingham and Belfast, operated by Loganair under a new franchise agreement.
