Directline Holidays FAQs

The amount of Hold Baggage that you are allowed to take on the aircraft will vary depending on which airline you are flying with.
In the unlikely event that this should happen to you, you must remember to report any lost or damaged baggage straight away to the airline’s handling agent at your arrival airport.
The current rules allow you to take enough baby food or milk for the journey in your cabin baggage. In some cases this may be over 100ml.
The current restrictions apply to liquids being taken onboard the aircraft as hand baggage.
The current restrictions can be found by visiting the Direct Gov website which is both run and maintained by the UK government.

Infants under the age of two on the date of your return flight will not be given hold baggage allowance. This is because the infant would be sat on the lap of an adult during takeoff and landing and does not require a seat. However many airlines will show kindness towards those travelling with infants such as allowing them to take a collapsible buggy and or car seat in addition to the companying adults hold baggage allowance at no additional cost.
In most cases it may be possible to increase your hold baggage allowance or increase the amount of bags it can may be carried in.
