Due to industrial action by public sector workers in France, Eurostar will be amending its timetable on Thursday 18 October 2007 to minimise disruption to travellers. The cancelled services are:
9003 06.22 Paris - London Waterloo
9049 17.43 Paris – London Waterloo
9012 09.09 London Waterloo – Paris
9040 16.12 London Waterloo – Paris
Eurostar has confirmed that an alternative timetable will be available on the day but warned that other services could be subject to delays. It is advised to check www.eurostar.com for further updates.
A Eurostar statement confirmed: "Due to the likely widespread disruption across the transport network in France, Eurostar is advising all travellers not to travel if at all possible.” Travellers who choose not to travel will be able to exchange their tickets for travel within the next 60 days.
