Weather in Es Castell - Mediterranean climate in Menorca's most easterly town
Es Castell lies just 3 kilometers from the capital, Mahon, and is the most easterly town on the island of Menorca. An ideal spot for touring the southeast region of the island, the historic Es Castell boasts a lively harbour and a rocky coastline, with sandy beaches close by. The holiday season in Es Castell ranges from April to October, with the peak summer months seeing highs of 28C and 11 hours of daily sunshine.

April sees mild spring weather in Es Castell, and with highs of 17C and 7 hours of sun each day, these days are ideal for exploring and touring the island, enjoying walks along the beach, hikes in the countryside and day trips to the bustling Mahon. May begins to heat up, with highs of 21C, and the month of June reaches temperatures of up to 25C, with as much as 10 hours of daily sun. Trips to the sandy beaches along the coast are popular at this time, and during the peak season months of July and August temperatures rise to 28C, with the water temperature of the Mediterranean hovering at 25C. September still sees high temperatures of 26C and 8 hours of sun, whilst the quieter month of October experiences cooler weather, with highs of 22C, and increased rainfall.
