Es Cana Things To Do
Beaches
Es Cana is a family resort with a fantastic crescent-shaped sandy beach. This is a great place for children to play safely, while you relax in the sun. It also has lifeguards making it extra safe. It is pretty too, with its own tiny harbour full of local fishing boats and gorgeous views out over the warm sea to misty, distant islands. This is a perfect choice for a family holiday.
Water Sports
If lying on the beach all day isn’t your thing, why not try out some of the water sports available on a holiday in Es Cana. You can try a number of different water sports including water-skiing, parasailing and windsurfing. Don’t forget the endless fun you can have with banana boats and pedalos! If you fancy a diving holiday there is also diving school in Es Cana.
Market
There is a famous hippy market in Ibiza that is only a short walk from Es Cana. You will find all sorts of things here, from crafts, sculpture, art, clothes and jewellery. This is an excellent place to find some souvenirs to take home or gifts for friends. You will find everything here, from all over the world, and local goods as well.
Ibiza town
You can take a boat trip from Es Cana’s harbour along the coast to Ibiza Town. It’s well worth a visit, and a nice day out from the beach life. Ibiza Town is surrounded by massive Moorish battlements and walls. Contained within is a lively, cosmopolitan place full of winding cobbled streets, exclusive shops and boutiques as well as a sprinkling of Ibiza’s finest clubs. This fairly sleepy town in the day comes to life in the night!
Formentera
You could also take a day trip from Es Cana to the Island of Formentera. The beaches here are pure white and crystal clear turquoise seas are legendary. You could also visit San Carlos, a little whitewashed village where the hippies who discovered Ibiza in the ‘60s used to hang out. This is a great spot for chilling in a café and watching the world go by.
Entertainment
Es Cala is very prepared for all kinds of people’s tastes in entertainment. There’s a constant stream of fun family entertainment taking place in the resort’s many pubs, bars, restaurants and hotels. You’ll discover pub quizzes, karaoke, singers, dancers and cabaret, all within walking distance. Alternatively, all along the coast either side of the resort you’ll find lovely unspoiled beaches which are easy to reach for a relaxing stroll. Enjoy!
Restaurants
Es Cana offers a wide choice of cheerful places eat out. The choices of restaurants vary, with cuisine from all over the world: anything from English to Indian to traditional Ibizan food. Children are welcome everywhere so you’ll have no problem finding somewhere to eat. There are restaurants and cafes dotted all around Es Cana so take your pick!
