NatWest has teamed up with both ebookers & easyJet in a move designed to offer customers better travel rewards with a new loyalty card system. The points card known as ‘YourPoints’ replaces the old policy known as Airmiles and will enable customers to fly with low-cost airlines and use the Ebookers website, while still taking advantage of special offers.
Provided it is bought through either the ebookers or easyJet website, any flight or travel package will be available to buy with YourPoints. For every £1 spent, NatWest customers will receive 1 point on their card, although initially this scheme will only be available to existing customers who have previously collect Airmiles. For those who spend more than £1,000 per month on their credit cards, the service will be available for free, where as for all other customers the service will be available at £3 per month.
Dennis Jones of NatWest parent company RBSG said: “We’re delighted to be able to say that this really is a programme that allows customers to take any seat, any route, any time, anywhere – if that seat’s available, it’s yours.”
The new programme will come into effect as soon as NatWest customers receive their June credit card statement, at which point they will stop amounting Airmiles points and instead receive YourPoints on their cards.
