Duni Things To Do

The Blue Flag beach at Duni stretches for 4.5km along the coast and offers an ideal spot for relaxation and swimming, with the backdrop of the pine-clad hills adding to the peaceful ambience.

 

For those looking for more active pursuits than sunbathing, the beach area offers a range of water sports to try such as water skiing, jet skiing and banana boat rides, as well as sailing and windsurfing.  

 

The resorts offer plenty of modern recreational activities for guests, with a number of swimming pools, ten tennis courts, table tennis, beach volleyball, dance lessons, shuffleboard, boccia, darts, archery and a trampoline. Hotels also offer fitness centres and gyms, aerobics classes, saunas and jacuzzis.

 

Away from the resort and the beach, there are organised mountain bike excursions (bikes cannot be privately rented however) and hiking tours through the picturesque countryside, full of dense forests and hills.

 

Duni's sandy beach is ideal for children, and a section of calm shallow water provides a safe area for playing and swimming in. The resort has various children's pools, playgrounds and Children's Club for ages 3-12, as well as Teen Club for older children.

 

Many of the hotels in Duni are all-inclusive holidays, and there are varied bars and a la carte restaurants for all guests. Evening entertainment includes nightly shows held in the amphitheatre, a disco, live music, bingo, games, competitions and beach parties and barbeques.

 

From Duni there are various trips and excursions to enjoy, from a coastal boat ride on a catamaran to a jeep safari. Towns to visit include Sozopol and Nessebar, and the city of Bourgas for a spot of Bulgarian culture and some shopping.

 

Recommended is a trip to Ropotamo Nature Reserve, a protected area famous for its water lilies and unique rock formations, and home to varied species of animals and birds. The reserve is a popular bird-watching spot.
